Great hangout place, good food, dog friendly outside area.

Absolutely horrible. Steak sandwich tasted like it was rolled in salt. I watched a bartender (Allison) leave a tap open and it took a couple of minutes to get her attention. When she saw it she said "That happened the other day for about 10 minutes, Oh Well, they should fix it".I asked Bethany (the owner) about a former employee and she told me a blatant lie about why the employee left. I guess she forgot that she told me a completely different story on another visit.This used to be a great place for lunch and a steak sandwich, it just continues to go downhill. Sad.

Stopped in after hearing excellent review segment on Fox News 13. I must say the Philly cheese steak was the best I've had in Florida. Server recommended hot peppers according to my taste and liking. I would like to see more friendly customer service, but that seems to be most places any more.

Ate here with my husband after seeing this place on Fox 13 news. Apparently its know for its cheesesteak. It was nothing to rave about, have had way better. Restaurant, bar was very dark and staff was not friendly nor welcoming. Very disappointed after driving 20 minutes out of our way to eat here.

Overall decent experience. Burgers are huge and tasty.

This was the first time at this location was wonderful service, great food, it was amazing and very cheap pricing and the draft beer was all so cheap. Will definitely be going back

I have been there twice to watch football with friends and have enjoyed it. The staff is great, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is fun.

Slow, but great cheese steaks and boiled peanuts. The original cheese steak with medium peppers and extra cheese is the way to go. Just not when you’re in a rush.

cheesesteaks are phenomenal!! the new owner, Bethany, was my bartender and she was friendly, quick, funny, and feisty ;) she recommended I try the new shrimp taco special and the bang bang sauce BANGS! the bathrooms were clean too! will be back

Charann's has been around for a long time...started out on the Courtney Campbell Causeway. My parents took me there when I was a child and growing up and I still go there. The steak sandwiches have always tasted the same... Great outstanding awesome the BEST STEAK SANDWICHES in TAMPABAY! Try one with their basket of fries and a cold draft or bottle 🍻 BEER🍻. Go there on a date or just to hang out and watch your favorite sports Teams on the BIG screen. I can't say enough about this place. Although Charann's is no long where is started out at...eating the Steak sandwiches Always brings back memories of my Childhood and My Mom. It's the best!!!

Lived in the area 2 years and just ate here for the first time last night! Being a sports bar inside a plaza, I thought that they smoked inside. I was pleasantly surprised to find they dont smoke inside and that it was quite large inside. It had huge tvs mounted to the walls and your choice of a booth, high top or low top seating. I took my waitress Natalia's advice and ordered their famous steak and cheese. The steak is cut thin and was very tender and the bread was so soft. A very good sandwich that I ordered w tater tots. I will definitely be back.

Absolutely love this place! The owner Bethany is a rock star and makes you feel like a friend the second I walked in. The drinks are great, especially the jello shots. The loaded pub chips are addictive, their cheesesteaks are on point, and great fries. Thank you Bethany for being awesome!

Great atmosphere. Great food! The server named Natalia is the best. Full walls of TVs. There's no smoking but you can sit outside and they have a whole patio set up there and they will serve you there also. Big screen TV TVs on the patio as well. Picture is one wall of TVs

Being that my husband is a Philly fan and knows his cheesesteaks, it goes a long way when he says their cheesesteak is great! He had been to several places in the Tampa Bay area, and hasn't found a place he liked for cheesesteaks. However, Charann's takes the cake! I am also a huge wing lover, and they're wings are delicious! We have a good time here, enjoying some well priced beverages and great food. Great local spot for anyone to sit and relax either outside, or enjoy watching a game inside and chatting with the friendly staff!

Went there for the first time last night and it was wonderful! The bar was full, but the bartender was able to handle everyone with ease. She's got a wonderful personality and definitely knows her drinks. The Philly is the best in Florida and the prices are great. My new hangout for sure. Best sports bar in town with an outstanding staff!!

Got the Philly cheese steak for lunch and it was over of the next I've ever had. Will be going back to try the rest they're offerings.

Ownership changed somewhat recently and since then this place has gone severely downhill. Some of their best items on their menu are now gone. I wouldn't suggest any of the other items either: During our most recent visit the plastic frosting nozzle was embedded inside the frosting on my wife's cupcake. My wife was rightfully displeased when she pulled it out of her mouth. Additionally, on the same visit, a long hair was wrapped around the garnish and in a drink she was served. While the servers were apologetic, management had the attitude that the issues were our problem, not theirs. I would recommend you stay away.Edit: Despite what the owner says in the response; I, personally, have not been back. My wife, however, has happened to accompany her friends on a few visits. Unlikely to happen again though due to management deciding on the last visit that harassment was a viable option to coerce review changes.

The atmosphere was good. The service was good. The food was okay. It wasn't awful, but I wouldn't go out of my way to eat it again.

Best place in the area for sports and beautiful service....Allison will have your drink on the bar before your barstool warms up. Couldn't ask for better food, service, and sports all wrapped up under one roof. A++++++ 5 🌟

Our favorite neighborhood bar & Grill! Love the owner Karen and her husband! The cheese steak sandwich is their claim to fame. I get chicken, hubby gets steak... heat factor option for us is medium. Fries are really good steak fries... Hubby loves that they also have tater tots, I so love that they have boiled peanuts. My healthy option is blackened chicken salad.

steak sandwich had barely any meat. soggy with mostly onion chunks and liquid cheese. not the sandwich i remember.

Hadn't been here in almost 20 years! We sat outside on a Sat. afternoon, server was overworked and not happy! Drafts hit the spot, but were not $2 as advertised. Split Charlie Special & cheesesteak, same as we used to order, but cheese not melted enough on Charlie, and didn't realize tomatoes on cheesesteak, not typical mushrooms, odd. Added onion rings, they were good. Didn't get chips & slaw as advertised. Overall food was good, but won't need to go out of our way to visit again necessarily.

Great burgers and beer.

Very disappointing considering the high reviews. Underwhelming cheesesteaks (peppers and mushrooms cost extra!?) with no sides and the portion was small... the “appetizer” tater to portion was small also. Then I made the mistake of ordering a martini... $14 for a poorly made martini? we’ll never be back.

Great sports bar atmosphere. Great prices, tasty food. Where they really got me though was when they upped the heat for the wings for me since their hot wings aren't so hot. The cook even came out and had me taste the modified sauce. It was awesome. Love it.

I Ordered 6 lemon pepper wings to go. Absolutely no seasoning. It taste as if the cook remembered at the last minute that they were lemon pepper wings and threw seasoning on the top and closed the order. I momentarily thought I ordered original wings with no seasoning or flavor. I can't speak to anything else on the menu as I only had the wings and will not return. Period.
